As a dedicated member of the writing community, A.M. Waters is here to help you in all areas of creative, developmental, and technical editing. Waters is proficient in Chicago Style editing, and will use that technique on the project. Prices vary depending on the project, word count, and time requirements. * The charge for proofreading and line-edit services start at $50 for 300 words or less. After the minimum requirement, the price is $0.05 per word. * Novels that are 40,000 words or more–the cost is $0.03 per word. * Beta Reading: $40 * For developmental editing, please make an inquiry to properly assess your needs and price estimate. Minimum is $500 per draft. * Critiques: Query Letter: $50 First 10 pages of novel: $50 Full Manuscript: $500 For more details, please make an inquiry. Invoices are sent via Venmo or PayPal. Email A.M. Waters with your request at cellarschaptersllc@gmail.com or make an inquiry through the website (found at the bottom of the "Cellars & Chapters" page). Waters will respond within 1 business day to review and assess the needs of your work. This will include a work sheet to identify the details of your needs. She may also request a sample of your writing to edit to establish your expectations. For clients who are writers and authors, a noncompete and nondisclosure agreement will be signed to bring confidence in the security of your work together. Contracts for work may be terminated by the client at any time. No refunds will be given for payments and fees that have been submitted and received.
